In a closely contested baseball matchup at Huntington Park, the Columbus Clippers managed to secure a narrow 7-6 victory over the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. The game featured an exciting display of power hitting from both sides.
Devin Smeltzer started on the mound for the Jumbo Shrimp, delivering a performance of 2.2 innings, allowing 3 earned runs, while recording 1 strikeout and issuing no walks. On the opposing side, Zach Plesac pitched an impressive 6.2 innings for the Clippers, despite giving up 5 runs and striking out 2.
